Your DJ will let you know at least 5 minutes ahead of time when an event is going to take place, giving you plenty of time to run to the bathroom, check your hair, makeup, etc. An experienced disc jockey will keep you informed and ready every step of the way during your Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin reception.
Below is an example of an evening wedding reception itinerary here in Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin, as coordinated by your disc jockey:
Bridal Party Arrival,
Your DJ gets everyone lined up and ready to enter, anywhere from ten minutes to a half hour, depending on the readiness of the Bridal party. Make sure EVERYONE being announced is aware, to stay outside of the reception hall, until the wedding party introductions.
Best Man's Toast, or othertoasts ,
Usually done immediately following the wedding party introductions or after the first course of a sit down dinner. In Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin, the best man traditionally gives the toast, however, many couples also have a second orthird person say a few words too. Your disc jockey will provide the cordless microphone.
Dinner,Depending on how the meal is served, buffet, food ywhere from 45 minutes, buffets with smaller crowds, to upwards of two hours, sit down dinners.stations, or sit down meal, and how many courses, this can take anSince the Bride & Groom finish their meal about 15-30 minutes before everyone else, this is a good time for them to go around to each table tosay hello, Your DJ will be playing continuous music during dinner.
Cake Cutting Ceremony,
The photographer will usually ask for a formal pose or two before beginning the cutting of the cake. The Bride and Groom cut out two, evenly sized, pieces of cake In Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin, wedding tradition holds that the Groom feeds his new Bride first, followed by the Bride feeding the Groom. Many Bride and Grooms feed each other a piece of cake simultaneously. Your DJ will provide guidance, music and a bit of encouragement for this formal event!
Formal Dances,
Approximately three to four minutes eachis the rule of thumb for the length of special dances. Your DJ will smoothly make the transitions from one wedding reception formality to another. See the music sampler for ideas.

TESTIMONIALS
Hello Brian,
I wanted to thank you so much for being the DJ at my wedding. I apologize for the chaotic timeline and having to end the reception short because of the humidity and my dad being sick as well. I truly appreciate you also taking the $100 off for me as well. You were a great DJ and you were super accommodating, understanding, and patient not just with communicating through email but even for the day of. I hope you got some food to eat the day of the wedding as well. Thank you so much again for being my DJ. My husband and I truly appreciate you.
Thank you again.

Keeping your reception guests entertained. The Shoe Game is one that's especially popular, and all you need to play are two chairs and your shoes. Ready?
How to Play the Shoe Game:
1. Ask a member of your wedding party to place two chairs back to back in the middle of the dance floor. Sit in one chair and have your partner sit in the other. Then take off your shoes and switch one shoe with your partner. You should each have two different shoes in your hands.
2. Designate a "caller" who will come prepared with a list of questions to ask you and your new spouse. (This is a great job for someone who didn't make it into your wedding party, but whom you still want to be involved.) Each question should start with "Who…?," as in "Who is the pickier eater?," or "Who has the better shower singing voice?" You can even get your guests involved by asking them to write their own questions and drop them in a box for the caller to read come game time. The caller should start with simple questions and gradually move to more personal ones (as long as both you and your spouse are comfortable answering them!).
3. Once you're asked a question, raise your partner's shoe if it describes their tendencies and your own shoe if it represents yours. Your partner should do the same. The trick is that you can't see your spouse, so you'll have no idea if they're answering the same way you are—although you'll probably be able to tell by your guests' reactions. Of course, after a few drinks, you and your partner's answers might get a little unpredictable. But those surprise moments are what make the shoe game so entertaining—especially if you both don't know the questions ahead of time.
The perfect icebreaker for your wedding reception.
